Position Summary

This role is focused on providing project finance management to support global business. This will include collecting data with an emphasis on analyzing the data collected and providing reporting that will be utilized by management to drive business decisions. The FP&A role will also assist in the timely preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly reporting as well as ad-hoc financial analysis/special projects to assist management in understanding and/or driving business performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Solid understanding of the business, end-markets, competitive environment and general economic conditions that are unique to CRO industries, enabling sound financial analysis for decision making
• Closely work with business leader to drive the full cycle project finance management, identify the risks and opportunities for business growth, price improvement and margin expansion.
• Be a key member of ERP implementation, project finance accounting is a plus.
• Facilitate the Strategic planning and budgeting financial processes. This includes managing the data collection & consolidation process via both the finance functions and non-financial functional teams, building the financial statements & Strategic deck to present information formally and timely.
• Drive Monthly financial forecasting and actual performance management. Responsible for collection, consolidation, analysis and reporting of monthly financial actual and forecasting performance reporting. This includes driving efforts to understanding root causes of variances and establish recovery actions when.
• Develop and implement project and functional profitability analysis & reporting. Establish reporting structure to understand profitability by various views.
• Manage financial reporting of COGS & Overheads across multiple functions, Headcount activity.
• Work cross-functionally to drive continuous and sustainable improvement in reporting, forecasting, budgeting and business processes.
• Perform reviews and analysis on customer contracts, collaboration & discount programs, and pricing models.
• Facilitate the GAAP reconciliation process inclusive tax package.
• Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis/special projects to assist management in understanding and driving business performance (ie. Cost reduction & capital investment modeling)
• Effectively manage & develop the finance support team.

Education and Key Competency Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 10 years of Accounting/Finance experience, latest 3 years with CRO Companies
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications PowerPoint & particularly strong Excel skills involving pivot tables and macros
• ERP implementation, project finance accounting is a plus
• CPA is preferred
• High integrity and work ethics
• Demonstrated skills leading & developing associates directly or indirectly (influencing skills)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills across all levels of the organization in English
• Superb organization and interpersonal skills
• Good analytical and issue identification abilities, and attention to detail
• Self-motivated and initiative for continuous improvement

创始人 - 谭凌实博士：拥有20多年跨国一流制药公司总部高级管理经验。此前担任辉瑞公司全球药物开发运营副总裁，在中国成功创建了首屈一指的研发中心，且经历10多年发展壮大到多个地点，成为辉瑞全球核心的研发中心之一，承担药物临床开发、安全风险管理、注册、临床稽查等关键职能。谭博士多年为RDPAD, DIA 的核心成员，担任重要职务,包括研发委员会主席, 全球董事等。谭博士还带头建立了与国内一流高校的教育培训合作，比如复旦大学、北京大学，交通大学。培养了不少拥有专业技能和行业知识的临床数据管理和编程人才。谭博士有在美国建立初创企业的经验，且在美国一流制药企业研发中心工作多年。谭博士拥有生物统计博士学位。
