1). Master Section/3D structure Design to deliver program UPV1/UPV2/FDJ milestone deliverables
o Support K loop Engineering Feasibility Study
o Full capability in pre-processing tools (Catia)
o Conduct commodity design work to deliver master section/3D and 2D CAD, tooling feasibility input, by using Catia/Project/Vismockup
o Ensure CAD analysis and issue resolution meets program milestones with quality
o Interpret results and develop efficient countermeasures that are aligned with external teams.
o Support body exterior system target development and cascade (i.e. Investigate benchmark and surrogate data, develop test plan etc.)
o Development of design solutions to any issues identified in analysis and/or test
o Work on Body Exterior system CAE analysis independently or work with REC CAE team to analyse CAE results and work out resolution plan
o By using Ford eFDVS/FEDE BOM/WERS/Tce to release design into Ford system
o Other UPV1/UPV2/FDJ engineering deliverables
2). Coordinate and support discussion between body exterior commodities and other functions
o Effectively communicate Master section and 3D structure results and design proposals to functional team and program team
o Working and communicating in Chinese Language environment and partial English Communication environment.
o Track down and resolve blockers, manage Open issue list to track all open issues for a program
o Lead prototype tracking (track timing plans, vehicle specs, eFDVS, Test Engineering eTrackers, etc.) and determine timing alignment issues
o Track physical and analytical test results to support ASR documentation
o Attend weekly TDR/AAF meeting to present program status and open issue progress
o Assume 3-5 hours overtime per week
