Responsibilities

1. Purchasing:

? Prospect and negotiate with potential third-party sellers to sell their technology and tools on AQF’s E-quality marketplace.

? Prospect and negotiate with suppliers of technology and tools for which AQF will be the merchant itself on the marketplace.

? Monitor market trends, competitor strategies and market suppliers

? Negotiate contracts, improve prices and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings utilising negotiation and procurement best practice tools and methods

? Build, maintain and manage supplier relationships and keep up good communications

? Ensure that a professional and consistent approach is taken in relation to all supplier relationships

? Ensure compliance to company guidelines, purchasing policies and procedures guidance during supplier negotiations and contracts award process.

2. Merchandising:

? Ensure offers on E-commerce marketplace are maintained and schedule of regular promotions is updated.

? Analyse sales data to structure new promotional activities.

? Propose new products and services that can be added to the E-quality marketplace.

3. Fulfillment:

? Manage fulfillment of products sold by AQF as the merchant.

? Establish relationship and manage third party fulfillment/warehousing provider(s).

Requirements

? 5+ years in a related Buying/merchandising role

? Ability to effectively communicate with global suppliers from different cultural backgrounds

? Effective communication, negotiation, interpersonal and influencing skills

? Analytical, numerically astute with strong demonstrated problem solving abilities

? Commercial and financial awareness with a full understanding of how failure impacts the production, manufacture and customer order fulfilment

? Able to work well under pressure and handle emergency and stressful situations

? E-commerce experience a plus
