Job Description

The Consumer Summer Analyst participates in a 10 week  Citi Consumer Banking Summer Analyst Program.  The program is dedicated to giving future business leaders a complete view of Citi's business. Through mentorship, training and career development programming, Summer Analysts can expect to finish the program with broad understanding of the Consumer Banking business, as well as operational intricacies of Citi. Tailored projects for Summer Analysts could be within these business areas:  

Responsibilities:

• Performs most basic, routine tasks/assignments
• Works under direct supervision with detailed procedures
• May service a very limited number of products/services
• Applies knowledge of routine work area procedures
• Completes standardized activities
• Exchanges basic information with other co-workers
• Resolves task related problems in straightforward situations
• Selects from a limited number of clearly defined options
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated understanding of the global banking landscape and place a priority on client service
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
• Analytical and quantitative skills
• Desire to develop a deep understanding of the financial industry

Education:

• Pursuing Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
