Description:
Reliability Technologist of Rotating Equipment is to act as technical specialist in assigned area to inspect equipment condition such as pump, compressor, agitator, gearbox, steam trap, etc. to meet mechanical equipment integrity program requirement.
The responsibilities of the position include but not limit:
? Work with site reliability engineers and operation to develop an optimal predictive maintenance plan to ensure facilities and equipment are fit for service with the goals of avoiding loss of containment and maintaining high efficiency operation.
? Analysis the vibration data and provide diagnose report with recommendation, assist maintenance to execute repair plan
? Execute condition data collection, such as vibration, ultrasonic, Thermography etc., and load and maintain condition data in Emerson AMS for analysis
? Provide first line equipment health diagnosis, and propose required actions to operation and maintenance.
? Be responsible to collect oil samples and send out for oil analysis. Review oil analysis report and provide recommendation for operation and maintenance; Maintain oil analysis data in system
? Complete final report and maintain condition data in system
? Assist engineer to develop reliability strategies by utilizing RCM, FMEA, vendor recommendation, and best practice and set up in appropriate system
? Apply problem-solving techniques to equipment and process problems and provide data to support reliability engineers for root cause analysis
