职位描述
Our client - a leading sea freight services provider of LCL, is now looking for Seafreight / LCL Manager to join their team in Shanghai.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for achieving and growing company's revenue through strategic account management and stakeholder engagement
- Manage the assigned portfolio with a good understanding of the customers' businesses, their needs and the market, and pro-actively promote excellent customer
- Proactively identify new customers with shipments/projects that fits the corporate business model
- Provide quotations and advice to clients to deliver best possible solutions to customers' needs
- To oversee the timely handling, operations and updating of all shipments for customer accounts
- Work with operations and cross-functional groups, customers and suppliers/carriers/co-loaders/freight forwarders to ensure smooth implementation of strategies and initiatives to effectively meet or exceed requirements and customers' expectations
- Develop sales support materials and promotional initiatives including sailing schedules and freight rates tariff based on corporate guidelines
Requirements:
- Degree or above qualifications in Business Management / Supply Chain / Logistics Management
- Min 7 years of relevant Sales & Business Development experience in Freight Forwarding & Logistics industry, preferably with LCL consolidation background
- Strong business development and client service skills with a proven track record in managing clients and winning businesses
- Well versed and connected with the developments and changes in the shipping/freight forwarding/NVOCC/Logistics industry
- Exposure to strategic partnerships/alliances with service providers, e.g. carriers/co-loaders/freight forwarders
- Motivate and inspire others, demonstrate commitments to organizational goals
- Confident, integrity, able to adhere to the principles of confidentiality and demonstrate business ethics and values
- Possess good ability to work in fast-paced and dynamic working environment
- Proficient with MS Office skills
- Excellent command in spoken & written Chinese & English
