We are seeking experienced (Sr.) software engineers to help build leading-edge cloud application and infrastructure management systems. The candidate will be instrumental in developing new technologies, expanding the capabilities of an existing code base, perform systems integration and develop strategies and tools to better manage cloud infrastructure. Overtime, the candidate will help to better understand system loads and perform load balancing, implement security, high availability, etc in a cloud environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, develop and maintain cloud applications
Enhance software robustness, code maintainability, componentization, reuse, and unification
Provide technical leadership and good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions in a particular area, Comfortable taking ownership of major system components and/or providing technical leadership to others
Work also includes enhance, document, test, and support software system

QUALIFICATIONS
B.S or M.S or above Degree in computer science, or related disciplines
Skilled in J2EE platform and internet based web application
Strong JavaScript skills (Minimum 4 years experience)
Strong debugging skills,
Strong knowledge of popular Linux platforms, Debian is preferable.
LINUX experience: in particular scripting in BASH/PERL, and general system administration
Good Web services skills with SOAP, REST, and XML experience
Good understanding of HTTP/S protocols
Virtualization experience (Xen, VMWare, MS Virtual Server, QEMU, etc) a plus
Good knowledge with large scale application, hands-on experience on DB Sharding, is a big plus
Excellent on Web 2.0/AJAX/Adobe Flex
Good English: able to do independent research online and converse of ideas to others
Strong communication skills and the ability to take initiative
Self-motivated, quick learner, good team worker, highly responsive and proactive person
Work under pressure of immediate deadlines
