Position: Automation Engineer 自动化工程师

Location: Suzhou

Requirements

Education: BSME, BSIE, BSEE or four-year technical degree

Experience: Minimum of 5 years, familiar with PLC program, familiar with electrical (电气，含高低压电，气阀操作)

Knowledge & Skills:

Demonstrated project management skills with a desired proficiency in Microsoft Project

Knowledge of electrical circuits specifically within automation equipment

Understanding in the design and programing of control systems (PC/HMI)

Experience with managing the design, build and implementation of large scale automation projects

Injection molding knowledge / experience

Hands-on Individual with detailed trouble shooting capabilities

Demonstrated ability in statistical tools, systematic problem solving methods, and quality systems

Ability to develop education / training material and provide hands-on training to site staff

Experience with engineering design tools (e.g., Agile, Pro-E, SolidWorks, AutoCad)

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Familiarity with ISO / GMP standards

Ability to write and perform design of experiment studies

Willingness & ability to travel (up to 50%, both domestic & international)

Responsibilities

Participate in development teams to incorporating technical manufacturing expertise in the design of the product

Write RFQ’s with functional descriptions for automation equipment

Leads and assists with the development and implementation of global automation systems within corporate manufacturing sites

Execution of Equipment Qualification and Process Validation Protocols within an IQOQPQ qualification system to obtain production approval of automation equipment

Evaluate and recommend new equipment suppliers

Participate in product brain storming and planning services

Develops new technology ideas and guides their development and implementation

Attend workshops and seminars and evaluate new products and concepts for possible implementation

Establish and manage project schedules and requirements

Prepare and write purchase requisitions

Work with project team to coordinate the new equipment productionizing process, including: submitting product to the mold approval lab, analyzing Q.A. data, incorporating corrections, reviewing and approving product specifications and/or requesting changes to specifications to obtain approval

Support production with chronic start-up issues and problems that cannot be readily resolved by site engineering support. Identify and close gaps in training and processes to ensure future site ownership
