Responsibilities

· Study projects as directed to adapt the installation for new products, new recipients or new legislation

· Analyze the performance of equipment and processes compared with targets and improvement plans

· Propose improvements and modifications in order to improve plant (i.e. process efficiency, yield, utilities, quality consistency etc..).

· Improve plant by day-to-day trouble shooting

· Engineer and design plant improvements and modifications within defined parameters

· Advise management and implement BG and Corporate (engineering) requirements and guidelines in the field of process safety and engineering

· Develop and maintain specific technical competences (e.g. Distillation) and share and coach other locations

· Prepare Capital Expenditure Proposals

· Manage system management of related systems and execute (small) software changes

· Manage (small) investment projects

· Follow DSM Values, "People, Planet, Profit", HR policies and minimum requirements and guidelines

· Execute defined SHE and Quality procedures in Engineering


Requirements:

More than 8 years' related experience in chemical industry

Fluent in English
