Job Title: Instrument engineer

Report to: Instrument Supervisor

Location: Shanghai

The Purpose:

To ensure the maintenance tasks to be executed safely, timely and economically by close coordination and good communication with the productions to safeguard the plants at Xinghuo site to be operated at the biggest capacity, in a safest and most economical way.

The Position:

SHE & Security Responsibilities:

1. Managing the plants in such a way as to safeguard the daily operations to be carried out in a SHE responsible way. This involves：

1) Ensuring that equipment is handed over safely before and after maintenance;

2) Assessing the risks of activities to ensure safe maintenance.

3) Overseeing the maintenance staffs to observe the DSM LSR .Such as Work Permit, Hot work Permit, entry into confined spaces, work at height, overriding of the safety device, LOTOTO etc.

4) Overseeing the contractors to follow our SHE regulations.

5) Follow MOC procedure and strictly observe”1 to 1” replacement.

6) Attending SHE meetings and proposing improvement on SHE, reporting incident and accidents.

7) Build up various training stations like frequency converters and PLC to ensure the subordinates learning new technologies.

2. Managing the plants in such a way as to safeguard the daily operations to be carried out in a security responsible way. This involves：

1) Training to employee.

2) Organizing implementation operation controls-

3) Regularly area check and actions follow up.

4) Propose continuous improvement actions

Key Areas of Accountability / Responsibility

1. Prioritizing the E&I work orders for every plant and to set up the daily and weekly maintenance plans .Keep good communications with every plant . Build up PPM plan for every plant and if necessary adjust the maintenance plans on the basis of the principal that safety and environment take priority over other.

2. Make enough E&I spare parts for every plant. Especially for key equipment to reduce shutdown time that non-planed .

3. Support projects from design, installation, commissioning，training and start up。

4. Regularly updating the technical documents and backing up and testing of the software about DCS、PCS for every plants to secure long operation of the plants 。

5. Regularly updating PM and closing work orders precisely and timely to ensure a complete and precise maintenance history.

6. Attending HAZOP and implement and verify SIS。

7. Keep contact with the foreign supplier to ensure the normal operations of the imported equipment.

8. Help and instruct the instrument operators to solve the difficult problems, Cultivating their maintenance skills to improve the group efficiency.

9. Responsible for the maintenance of the fire fighting system for B6 plant to ensure its normal operation.

10. Coordinate with the manufex plan to collect top performance killers and their AU losses with regards to the maintenance. Conducting RCA if necessary to terminate the PK’s.

11. Acting as the reliability Engineer to rank the equipment, do FMEA for the critical equipment, updating preventive maintenance regularly by analyzing the maintenance history. To ensure all the equipment to be maintained as per plan, doing the risk analysis if the maintenance can not be executed within defined time.

Authorities

1. Financial authority limits: see F&A SOP (Company proxy & authorization).

The Ideal:

1. 5 years of above work experience

2. College or above, majoring electric/instruments automation /mechatronics

3. Computer skill，IT technology ,know technical English，good oral English.
