• Focus on increasing both the quantity and quality of our sales to customers and key distributors through technical expertise and assistance in current sales efforts as well as innovation for new product development.

Responsibilities:

  

• Working closely with customer and key distributors on new product design in and support quotes to win
• Driving growth within segment
• Driving “design wins” as defined by print position
• Maintain and communicate industry-best understanding of technical trends driving our (and end-use) markets and competition
• Write application notes, and co-author technical paper
• Identify new product opportunities, and qualify, develop and champion development of our product offering (by application)
• Identify and help to enhance the company's competitive advantage and/or barriers to entry (by product)
• Provide technical support for sales and marketing
• Contribute content to technical collateral materials
• Shared responsibility for sales into a specific target market/application(s)
• Take on the role of key technical expert for customers and sales channel
• Write detailed specifications and application notes for new products, ideas
• Define new products and new applications
• Solve customer application problems in a timely manner.

• Training of sales staff, agents and distributors where applicable.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred, Business, Marketing or a four-year technical degree required
• Professional experiences in a related background (Aerospace or Railway) desired
• Professional level experience of 5 years required
• Must be willing to travel approximately 40% - 50% of the time

• Ability to perform business correspondence, including technical writing, connectors /cable assembly experience required
• English capability essential
• Sales experiences preferred

  

Planning and Decision Making:

• Yearly plans
• Updated information in SFDC minimum weekly
• Regular reporting to ensure maximization of time etc.

Impact and Scope:

• Within the markets which they address.
• Targets to be met or exceeded.
