RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Ensure to comply with Evonik and local safety, health and environment standard, fulfill the mandatory safety requirement and activities: safety training, safety meeting, APT, SWP, JSA and all other requirements by Evonik EH&S and local regulation.

2. Monitor the serviceability of plant equipments and facilities and ensure they adhere to safety, housekeeping and environmental requirements. 

 3. Responsible for maintenance for all rotating and static equipment such as:  compressors, pumps, agitators, heater exchangers, pipelines, valves.

 4. Response to the maintenance requirements that could be scheduled or unscheduled/emergency jobs, on 24/7 base, prompt response to requests for assistance and putting in the time and effort to meet our customer’s expectations.

5. To be familiar with all equipments in plants, maintain all equipments accurate documents integrity and equipment history database reachable.

6. Provide hands-on technical skills at the troubleshooting and all related maintenance work or supporting work responsible.

7. Implement/support Mechanical Integrity work, Special Equipments management, TPM/5S management, Spare parts management.

8. Coordinate or assist of supervision the contractor’s work in the facility or shop to guarantee safety and quality and reliability.

9. Provide technical reports through the specified datasheet or checklist. 10.Assist supervisor to prepare technical reports.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

1. Diploma or ITE (2 year or 3 year) technical college holder in mechanical engineering discipline.

2. The minimum working experience in a  petrochemical or chemical or textile/fiber industry manufacturing for the maintenance engineer’s position is more than 5 years hands-on experience in the field at some areas of rotating , static machinery ,pipe and welding techniques.

3. Favorable hands-on experience at least one of below machines:  compressor; chemical pumps such as canned pump ,centrifuge pump, agitators etc.

4. Have experience in major shutdown support, project work, plant operations and maintenance efforts.

5. Knowledge of vendor contracts and knowledge of shop support in the region is desirable.

6. Possess good oral and written communication skills, preferable in English language.

7. Be honest and able to work independently as well as in a team player.
