PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
(The main reason for the position, in what context and what is the overall end result)
The manager supports the RES department to ensure the fulfillment of the department goals.

Responsible for the management of design, procurement and construction process and provide overall coordination for large-scale projects in China. Assist HOD in development of and adherence to all project routines and procedures and full implementation of all agreed common project standards.

Support all major development projects in China to ensure that projects are managed in accordance with the processes and procedures. Direct and guide all PMs in the various projects and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with the project management SOPs.

Development Management
?Support BD, Marketing and Project team in conceptualizing the feasibility study, planning and positioning of new developments and products
?Prepare project life cycle and project master schedules
?Develop comprehensive plans and schedules from multiple Lines of Businesses
?Coordinate and integrate project schedule input from all internal and external project organizations
?Provide technical support to BD in acquisition of properties and conduct building technical due diligence
?Initiate, organize and guide local project management teams for new developments
?Assist to develop overall project management strategy and objectives
?Support the local PM team in the selection and appointment of consultants
?Review and critique consultant's design
?Assist the local team in design review, contract packaging strategy and manage construction cost
?Assist the local project team in reviewing and evaluating construction bids and/or quotations
?Assist in the construction process to ensure the design intent is thoroughly achieved
?Coordinate and attend monthly PCG meetings to monitor and track development projects
?Ensure project management process is is implemented in accordance to established SOPs

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Requirements :
?Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
?Demonstrated computer proficiency required
?Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work independently in a fast-paced environment
?Good basic computer knowledge is required, such as EXCEL, Word, MS Project, etc
?Good leadership ability in leading the team to achieve the department's objectives
?Ability to work with clients/customers as well as manage consultants and authorities
?Familiar with local building codes and practices

Education
At least a Bachelor Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering.

Job related experience
More than 5 years' working experience, preferably with experiences hands on Planning Software experience
