The advanced quality engineer is responsible for achieving the correct quality level of the assembly in each development phase as required by our customers. The AQE oversees all builds, collects open issues and communicates to the project team and the customer on weekly basis. The AQE is responsible initiating and maintaining a close relationship with the customer together with the Program manager. The AQE creates reports on status and open issues, and is responsible for the action planning as agreed within the team relating to the quality goals. A engineering background with proven quality control experience is preferred.

Requirement:
?Facilitate and/or participate in teams to develop and write Failure Mode Effects Analysis.
?Write and implement Quality Control Inspection Plans.
?Interface between plants in Yantai, Beijing and Chongqing from Shanghai as well as various customers.
?Write, edit, and evaluate Process Control Plans, Validation Plans.
?Demonstrated mechanical/electrical problem solving skills
?Observe and note inconsistencies in work methods, instructions or specifications.
?Generate, follow, and explain detailed instructions and inspection procedures.
?Communicate product and/or component part deficiencies to Engineer, Customer, Supplier, or supervisory personnel.
?Must be able to analyze and resolve non-routine product issues using independent judgment and inspection equipment such as CMM equipment.
?Evaluate the performance of one or more Q.C. inspectors, technicians or Quality Engineer based on pre-established performance parameters.
?coordinate the activities of one or more Quality Control Inspectors and/or technicians, also liasions at customer.
?Interface among multiple departments and teams including R&D, Manufacturing and Quality, vendors and senior managers to ensure specific time and or regulatory standards are met.
?Analyze and interpret engineering test data collected during new device testing.
?Develop statistical process controls and analyze data. Drive optimization in operating parameters.
?Lead, monitor and control progress of projects to ensure sound application of quality and engineering principles used, and design intent is being achieved.

Qualifications

?At least 3 years experience in automotive industry with customer contacts
?Excellent written and oral communication skills
?Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
?Ability to manage priorities and workflow
?Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary languages used in the workplace. (Chinese and English, Korean is a definite plus)
?Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
?Proficient on basic computer programs Excel, Word, PowerPoint
?Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
?Strong interpersonal skills.
?Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels.
?Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
?Working knowledge of data collection, data analysis, evaluation, and scientific method.
?Bachelors degree in engineering or mathematics with 4 years quality/process engineering experience, demonstrating analytical ability.
?Knowledge of ISO/TS Quality Standards.
?Thorough knowledge of APQP requirements.
?Supervision/operations experience is a plus
