Department:Purchasing department
Reports To:Purchasing Manager
Overview
?This position is for sunroof subcomponents BCC sourcing.
?The incumbent will have primary interface between the supply base and business management. Responsible for all aspects of tactical purchasing including - request for quotes, engineering changes, quality development, delivery improvement, project management, material cost reductions and capacity adjustments as well as strategic purchasing - new supplier development, global sourcing, supply base reduction, commodity strategy development and execution
Principle accountability:
?Implement sunroof sub components global sourcing strategies.
?Delivery credibility improvement and supplier quality improvement.
?Working capital improvement through favorable supplier payment terms.
?Strategic source planning, material cost reduction and supply base reduction.
?Ensure identification of potential vendors, which complement the strategic growth of the corporation
?To meet annual MPV goal

Education/Experience:
?Bachelor degree in Engineering.
?Ability to travel frequently
?3 years direct material purchasing experience
