Mission:
?Under the responsibility of the process engineering manager, the Senior Assembly engineer is the process expert in mechanical assembly and automation area in company and assembly technology contact window in Autoliv Global
?The Senior Assembly engineer has the responsibility lead the assembly team to develop and improve assembly processes for electronic modules and satellites production
?To be involved and support projects and R&D for process related issues
?Preparation of processes for new Assembly technology and project.
?Technical support Assembly area in production for equipment and process issues.
?Specify new equipment and be responsible for working with machine supplier, from specification to released equipment.
?Process control management leader, Process-FMEA, Capability studies, SPC
?Identify and run improvements projects within the area. Improvements such as quality and efficiency. Continuous improvements.
?Be technical support to R&D for design/process issues
?Be involved or lead projects together with other AEx engineers
?Reporting performance to production/quality

Responsible for processes:
Board assembly
Final assembly of electronic modules
Screwing
De-paneling
Conformal Coating
Heat stake & Laser Welding
Other new Assembly technology


Requirements
?Engineering degree.
?Minium 8 years experience within the electronic production in Assembly area and process development in the automotive electronic production
?Experience to work with automatic machine and fixture design.
?Statistical knowledge, 6-sigma
?Ability to achieve objectives with little direct support.
?Strong technical skills in soldering
?Quality mentality for reaching 0ppm
?Good interpersonal skills, able to work with many levels of the organization
Skills in relationship and management / leadership required:
?Good management skills, able to run projects and work with suppliers
?Comfortable to work in team
