Scope of Role:

? Responsible for efficiency and effectiveness of end-to-end processes in own business unit or value stream

according to SME Customer Value Proposition

? Work closely with SME business , Credit, Support functions and Product managers to drive excellence in

process management for purpose of Revenue growth, Productivity & Cost improvement, Customer Service

Improvement and Risk Prevention / Mitigation

? To manage implementation of Group/Local Systems

Key Responsibilities/Challenges:
1. Process Re-engineering

o Responsible for defining, analyzing and re-engineering key business processes and procedures for SME in line

with customer and frontline feedback

o Lead the design of innovative processes that support delivery of differentiated customer experience under

guidance of CoE NEA

o Improve current processes using Operational Excellence methodology and tools across all products / functions

within the Value Streams and drive continuous improvement discipline through standard work

o Assist various channels in resolution of specific business or procedural issues across departments

o Liaise with various departments to ensure that processes are integrated across the business and adopted

correctly. Prepare and train functional work groups to ensure that they are competent with the business

process flows, placing focus on quality customer service, control and cost containment

o Set targets for Service Level Agreements, Turnaround time, productivity and accuracy measures and ensure

robust performance tracking and communication of benefits and results

o Build the culture and capability to support continuous process improvement within the business

2. New Product & Services Launch

o Ensure communication to all stakeholders are made for pre-launches and obtain feedbacks

for post launch monitoring

3. Leadership & People

o Build a strong local talent pipeline for future business growth and continuity

o Coach direct reports and key talents to deliver on individual performance

o Manage employee engagement, motivation and attrition issues

o Be an effective agent of change and a role model for talented managers throughout the Bank

4. Compliance & Control

o Ensure that process changes / new processes comply with Group compliance standards, MLP policy, Group KYC

risk base standards and local regulatory requirements

o Ensure the value stream is fit for growth and have effective controls framework

Selection Criteria:

? In-depth knowledge of WB and SME products, sales, services, marketing, delivery channels, customer segments,

banking processes & operations, credit risks and compliance.

? Considerable experience leading and running projects

? Strong analytical and presentation skills

? Self-directed, team player preferable with experience in a Lean and Six Sigma driven environment and a Master

Black Belt. Technical competency in Lean and Six Sigma skills: Kaizen/Work-out, Rapid improvement Events

process management, change management and advanced statistical techniques
