Responsibilities:
? To study the production process including the time study. Optimize the current process by applying with Lean, Kaizen and Six Sigma, VSM tools to solve the issues, minimize the quality risk. Work on line balance to eliminate bottle neck, drive the capacity and conduct the material handling, material flow design and improvement.
? To work with planning and other function to set up the process for new line or transferred line with PFMEA.
? To lead and involve in the Kaizen and Improvement projects to drive the cost reduction.
? To provide overall project management through internal resources and/or third party, including management/supervision of engineering/design; fabrication and logistics activities, including inspection; installation planning and execution, including qualification, gage R&R, pilot run and inspection; schedule and cost, relative to sanctioned plans; QESH, including translating operations process into training materials for operations purpose.
? To work closely with Engineering, Quality team and Production team for the manufacturing process, technology setup and continuous improvement for condensing unit.
? To lead engineering, fabrication and installation of equipment, facilities and tools to achieve total operations objectives. Work with a project or asset team, develop designed criteria, e.g. throughout rates, operating parameters, temperatures, etc. Prepare pre-project cost estimate and schedules; work with team to demonstrate economic viability and achieve approvals.
? To work with procurement team to prepare the RFQ and corresponding qualification documents for new equipments, tools and service sourcing and develop recommendations for award of contracts for the required work.
? To lead development of appropriate system operating procedures and training of appropriate operations team.
? To provide technical support on installed equipment, tools and facilities to operations to achieve asset optimization.
