Principle SW Engineer (Cloud Solution, Azure, AWS)

The team consists of a group of experienced and talented engineers, fully responsible for the Citrix Cloud platform. We are looking for a passionate technology savvy architect who has rich hand-on experience on Cloud solutions and the eagerness to collaborate with teams around the globe to fight together for stronger results.

Position Overview

As the architect of the team, you will be working with fellow engineering teams across countries, both internally and externally. You will steer the team technically and bring up the team to the next level. With your strategical thinking, you will help the leadership team toward a bigger success. You are also expected to show your strong influence by coordinating external teams for organizational goals.

Responsibilities

? Plan, design, develop and test new products and software enhancements on top of the Citrix Cloud platform

? Research on edge cloud computing technologies and grow the team to next levels

? Lead collaborations crossing multiple teams and multiple geographic locations, analyze product requirements and propose solutions

? Help the leadership team to establish strategy, optimize the process and innovate in execution.

Minimum Qualifications

? Masters, PhD, or equivalent experience in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.)?

? Minimum 6 years of work experience in Cloud computing, Azure preferred.?

? Strong computer science fundamentals such as data structures, operating systems, databases.

? Solid hands-on experience in large-scale cloud infrastructures and solutions.

? Expertise in the whole development cycle of creating cloud-based solutions, including requirement gathering, architecture design, development and verification, deployment and daily operation

? Understanding of Agile software development

? Experience in developing and debugging in one or more of preferred languages such as C#, Java, and/or Python

? Ability to influence, lead and even drive collaboration across multiple functional teams

? Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; the ability to convey your message to team members and other stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

? Full-stack experience is a plus, familiar with modern front-end technologies

? Insights to industry trend and product positioning will be a strong plus

? Understanding of security knowledge and ability to application in development is strongly preferred
