Recruiting Positions: Field Application Engineer / Technical Sales / Business Development Manager 

(3-8 years work experience)

Key Responsibilities

1. Proactively identify and conduct business development and customer-facing sales & marketing activities with the ability to explain technical topics competently and convincingly targeting prospective early adopter / end-users
2. Ability to quickly learn a wide variety of new innovative industrial technologies and create marketing and investment collateral to promote in the China market, including ‘pitching’ the value proposition to beyond just customers, such as investors, government supporters and other stakeholders in the industry value chain;
3. Assist in the evaluation of a wide variety of innovative technologies and start-up companies from overseas and predict their future competitiveness and success in the China market. Collect and analyze competitive industry information, and maintain a robust understanding of the technical landscape. Assists in defining the product roadmap based on industry trends and emerging technologies.
4. Oral and written translation in real-time meetings and documents from English to Chinese and vice versa;

                    

Qualifications & Minimum Requirements

1. Undergraduate with preference for Masters degree major or concentration in technical/engineering, with economics/business a plus;
2. Strong technical background especially in mechanical and/or electrical engineering fields and demonstrated ability to apply technical knowledge to perform business development and strategic sales;
3. Excellent project management skills; experience leading a team or department a plus;
4. High oral and written fluency in Chinese and English, with preference for overseas education and work experience, and ability to interface effectively with senior level Western and Chinese decision-makers;
5. Professional attitude; superior listening and communication skills, with preference for ‘outward’ personality to effectively conduct business development and strategic sales and marketing;
6. Ability to think critically and work independently with limited guidance to complete tasks on time; self-starter, pro-active, and solution-oriented; intellectually curious and honest.
