Purpose of your role

Reporting to the local packaging Lead, and this will be part of a global Application Packaging and release team whose primary focus is the packaging and delivery of applications to desktops and servers.

The role will be a combination of day to day support activities and project work. This will involve liaison at all levels within Technology Infrastructure Services (TIS), other Technology teams and various business communities globally.

Key Responsibilities

The primary focus is sequencing and packaging, for desktop/server and Citrix environment, managing the release process, and providing support.

· Application virtualisation using App-V & Admin Studio

· MSI application packaging using Admin Studio

· Quality assurance & peer review

· Software deployment using SCCM, Intune and XenApp

· Issue resolution and problem solving

· Change Management

· Have the ability to work weekends and unsociable hours as required

Experience and Qualifications Required

Essential skills

· Structured and methodical in problem solving

· Strong communication skills and flexible team player

· Positive can do attitude

· Proactive and challenges the status quo / seeks and drives improvement

· Support of packaging and deployment issues in a complex environment

· Experience in managing Windows Client/Server (Win10/Win2012+/File Shares/Printers/IIS), resources in Microsoft Active Directory and GPO

· Strong automation skill with PowerShell or VB scripts or other scripts language (Python or Ruby etc)

· Application virtualisation using Microsoft App-V 5.x (preferred)

· Application packaging using Flexera AdminStudio

· Software distribution using SCCM 2016 (current branch), Intune and XenApp 6.5 or greater

· At least 3 years’ experiences in technology area

· Good understanding of the following products or technologies;

- Windows 10

- Windows server 2012 +

- Microsoft Office suite and related products (including of O365 and “click to run”)

· Able to communicate with other region in English

· Able to work in a team environment and take responsibility for completion of duties

· Quick learn skill and willing to take more opportunity when new project comes

· Service Oriented

· Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

· Flexibility to travel between locations

· Banking or Finance related business experience desirable

Desirable skills

· Market data applications such as Bloomberg, Datastream and Reuters Kobra

· Mobile application packaging for iOS / Android / Windows 10 mobile

· Troubleshooting mobile applications – Intune / MAM

· Automation via scripting – packaging and/or infrastructure related

· Experience in virtualization support

· Experience in designing and implementing data Backup solutions (e.g. Arcserve, Backupexec)

· Experience in building Windows client and server builds, create/manage and deploy templates

· MCE or MCSE will be preferable

· Experience as a WINTEL support at large site / multiple server and application

· Basic knowledge of messaging (Exchange/Exchange Online) and know how to troubleshooting

· Experience in Centralize server patching ( WSUS )

· Experience in Microsoft SCCM management

· Japanese language skill

· Development skill
