Responsibilities:

1. Communicate directly with customers on all issues, including:

1) General custom project inquiries

2) Technical presentations and product demonstration

3) Assisting with design of NGS portions of research projects

4) Writing and delivering proposals/quotes

5) Technical support/troubleshooting

2. Provide comprehensive NGS technical support to GENEWIZ China Sales, Marketing and Business Development.

3. Interface and support US-based next generation sequencing and bioinformatics business units.

4. Improve existing, and develop new, operational procedures.

5. Maintain in-depth scientific knowledge of all principles for Next Generation Sequencing services and operations.

6. Provide comprehensive NGS technical support and in depth training to clients and GENEWIZ staff

7. Review quotes and project reports

Required Qualifications:

1. B.S. M.S. or PhD in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Bioinformatics, Biochemistry or related discipline

2. Minimum of 1+ years of NGS and/or DNA microarray related work experience

3. Knowledge of research areas, tools and techniques that utilize next generation sequencing data

4. Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment.

5. Motivated, organized, and disciplined, with excellent record keeping skills and a superb attention to detail.

6. Outstanding Interpersonal Skills; both verbal and written.

7. Bilingual-English/Mandarin Chinese.
