Job duties:

- To find suitable suppliers/factories for shoes.

- To work with the teams, the customer and the vendors altogether for developing business further.

- Work and communicate with buyers as needed.

- Solve all potential problems re sample development, order handling and social compliance.

- Train and monitor suppliers/factories to meet with the customer’s specification/limitation on the physical and chemical requirement.

- To get the team built up and well functioned

- Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

requirements:

- Top Shoe-“networker” in following sourcing-markets:

？ China

？ Vietnam (Cambodia)

？ India

？ Bangladesh

- Ideally experienced in Discount shoe-business

- Permanent visits / meeting with vendors and factories to discover suitable opportunities for all relevant shoe-categories particularly for discount (“agile”), open eyes for actual trends in all sourcing markets

- Strong negotiating skills (price, order-management, claims)

- Strong leadership skills

- Footwear DNA (ideally equipped with rough technical skills)

- Knowledge about Detox-requirements

- Knowledge about sustainable materials (e.g. recycled materials etc..)

- Good relationship to testing institutes (BV, TUV)

- Bachelor degree holder with above 15 years working experience in related field;

- Have product knowledge of related hardline products;

- Good Oral English and can be able to communicate well in English with buyers and suppliers.
