Job Description/Experience Requirements

The Audit Specialsit will report to the China Head of Internal Audit (HOA) and will expect to understand the Internal Audit infrastructure, resources and finance in detail, and manage all administrative matters. The candidate will also be responsible for preparing internal management reports and presentations and conduct quality checks for external reports include regulatory reports before submission. The candidate will assume an internal quality control role to be in line with regional and global IA audit requirements.



Duties are complex requiring high level of discretion and independent judgment. This position will be based in shanghai, China.



Job Responsibilities

· Manage all administrative matters for the China Internal Audit

· Support HOA in preparing internal reports and presentations to senior country and regional management

· Act as a quality controller to communicate / enforce both IA and Citi internal policies and guidelines (e.g .travel expenses claims) and ensure timely updates of IA internal reporting and database (such as Auto Audit and IAUPT).

· Interface with Region and Global Audit Operations in routine reports and system updates

· Support and liaise with region/global of project initiation and implementation to China.

· Participate and/or lead China Internal Audit projects assigned

· Coordinate and conduct quality check for local regulatory reports prepared by various IA teams

· Develop and maintain local database for audit works, local regulations and other audit materials and documents

· Be a great team player and individual contributor. He/she can effectively participate and collaborate with other businesses/departments and other teams within or outside country to discuss and resolve issues.


Qualifications

· At least 6-8 years of relevant work experience with financial institution or audit firms

· Excellent interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with various stakeholders;

· Strong Mandarin and English language skills (both written and spoken) with Chinese / English translation working experience will be a plus point.

· Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail, ability to prioritize and multi-task,

· Strong project management experience management, problem solving, conflict management, negotiation skills

· Familiar with Microsoft Offices (Excel, Words and Powerpoint)

· Able to work independently with minimum supervision

· Be a strong team player
