GENERAL FUNCTION:

The Business Analyst is responsible for the defining, developing, configuring and supporting Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications for Luxottica Retail and the IT department.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide first/second application level phone/email support to customers
Analyze problems, answer questions and provide training about the software and business processes
Make basic customizations based on customer needs
Identify and test workarounds for bugs
Provide regular updates to customers on open support issues
Research issues dealing with 3rd party technology/interfaces
Assist in updating training manuals and materials

REQUIRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

Demonstrable skill integrating SAP Materials Management (MM) or Sales and Distribution (SD) or FI/CO (Financial Controlling) or IS-Retail Master Data. Strong experience with either one or several modules.
Solid integration knowledge/experience with other SAP Modules.
Hands on experience with documented examples of work with RICEF (Reports, Interface, Conversion, Enhancements and Forms). Includes mastery level ability to write and translate RICEF for various business scenarios.
Deep configuration skills on respective SAP modules.
Knowledge of business process mapping within SAP Application.
Exemplary troubleshooting and problem resolution skills.
Demonstrated ability and temperament to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Mastery level understanding and application of both standard solutions and best practices to create a scalable, resilient, and agile integration environment that is suitable for growth (i.e. new markets, mergers/acquisitions, evolving system landscapes, etc.).

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree in related field required
Fluent with business level English both orally and written

EXPERIENCE:

3 + years of hands on experience in SAP Materials Management (MM) or Sales and Distribution (SD) or FI/CO (Financial Controlling) or IS-Retail Master Data
3-5 years Information Systems/Business-related experience
· A clear and practical understanding and experience integrating technical services which support applications and users in the organization;
· Experience communicating by phone and face-to-face with customers collecting requirements and implementation details, implementing solutions, and providing technical support;
· Able to travel internationally as required
