Role / Position Overview

We are searching for a highly motivated and enthusiastic person who will be part of China In-country Production Services team in Shanghai, supporting CN ICG In-Country systems as BAU (Business At Usual), including local system, regional system and 3rd party/vendor system.

The successful candidate will be working closely with their colleagues and L3 teams in Shanghai. The ideal candidate should be technically astute, well organized, and proactive and be comfortable discussing issues with business and technical users at all levels. They also need to possess great multitasking skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be part of the team member within the Production Support Services for the Distributed technology suite of applications in China under ICG Technology.
• Be accountable to ensure stability, efficiency and effectiveness of support services at L1-L2 scope.
• Work closely with both regional and local team to ensure tactical and strategic direction for the group is followed.
• In cases where the production support services are vendor managed, the staff is responsible to work with the vendor to ensure service quality according to the contract.
• Have to perform escalation procedures to senior levels, annual capacity planning and ensure high availability of system uptime.
• Provide insights to continuous improvements and innovation to streamline efficiency and increasing productivity.
• Ability to make sound judgment and decision when handling high severity issues. Gives clear leadership and command / control over pressing circumstances.
• Adhering to compliance, regulatory and information security policies.
• Act as a liaison between users, various internal technology groups and vendors

Knowledge/Experience:

• 2-3 years’ experience working in a support environment
• Understanding of IPC (Incident, Problem, Change) management methodologies
• Experience with trouble ticketing software
• In depth knowledge of Product Processer
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, great teammate.
• Familiar with batch(Autosys) schedulers
• Knowledge on Geneos ITRS monitoring would be an added advantage essential.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree

Skills:

Linux

• 2-3 years’ experience
• Shell scripting

SQL

• 2-3 years’ experience
• knowledge in Sybase 12.5 and 15/ SQL Server
• Programming Languages
• Perl, script, or Java language

Systems

• Basic understanding of PCs & networking

Middleware:

• WAS/MQ/NDM experience will be an added advantage

Personal:

• Ability to communicate well verbally and written at all levels
• Strong organizational skills
• Self-motivating
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to learn new skills quickly with little supervision
