Responsibilities

?Work with sales director and Channel Excellence leader to execute distributor management and strategy in China

?Execute distributors upgrading, optimization and consolidation via redundancies and tail management 

?Develop new channels, passing necessary market and product knowledge to the new hires                        

?Manage and drive distributors to ensure AOP target delivery and pursue growth opportunities with good market segment and geographic coverage

?Set up explicit business goals and expectations; conduct regular performance reviews to ensure accountability, effectiveness and efficiency 

?Buildup transparent working relationships within distributor organization and good understanding of their business activities and key customers

?Develop creative business model and award mechanism to motivate distributors for win

?Utilize distributors to collect market information and intelligence and communicate timely within Plastic Solutions organization

Qualifications
?BSc or above in Chemical, Polymer Science/Engineering or relevant field
?15+ years working experience in channel management, sales, market development in polymer industry, plastics compounding, specialty chemicals etc.
?10+ years multi-national company working experience, capable of managing cross function and business complexity 
?Effective communication skills within MNC matrix organization
?Strong commercial acumen and interpersonal effectiveness
?Work independently, capable of handling conflicts and challenges within the organization and among distributors/customers
?Positive working attitude, can-do attitude, risk taking and a team player
?Capable of leveraging internal/external relationships/resources for success
?Up to 50% travel time
?Proficient in MS Office and other business apps
?Good spoken and written in English and Mandarin
?Open mind for new opportunities and self-motivation
?Maturity, Ethics, Political acumen are key characteristics to be identified
