Responsbility: 

Formulate operation and inventory strategies to align with the requirements of fast growing business

Establish, implement and refine policies and processes of customer order priority, sales forecast, demand planning, supply planning, purchase order, inventory management, master data, etc.

Lead the sales, inventory, and operation planning (SIOP) process, and drive optimal mix between customer satisfaction, inventory and cost.

Work closely with sales and marketing teams to reach consensus on sales forecast and demand plan.

Coordinate with production and purchasing teams to work out reliable production and purchase plans.

Conduct what-if analysis; reconcile variances; and shape business opportunities and risks.

Participate in executive S&OP meeting and get approval for finalized operation plans.

Manage supply plan and distribution plan to ensure inventories are planned and deployed into right warehouses with right quantity and right time.

Administrate the entry, issue, and close of purchase orders; coordinate with plants and suppliers to ensure on time supply, shorten supply lead time, and narrow supply variation.

Communicate with customers and suppliers to resolve issues related to delivery, service, quality and price.

Refine planning parameters and master data settings to ensure optimal outcomes.

Initiate and lead projects to continuously improve departmental performance, process and system.

Education Background:

5-8 years bachelor degree or above in mathematics, or supply chain management related.

Experience:

Essential

Over 8 years’ experience in demand and supply planning, with 3+ years in a managerial role under a B2B trading/commercial environment of a MNC

Demonstrated experience in managing or developing a strong planning team and delivering best in class performance in customer service, inventory, and cost.

Solid experience in establishing and optimizing process, system, and metrics.

Hands-on experience in ERP and advanced planning tools. SAP, APO preferred.

Desirable:

Consulting experience related to planning, ERP, or inventory management.

Experience in establishing a new planning and replenishment system for a stocking business

Experience in a manufacturing environment

Skills:

Result oriented, systematic thinking, attention to details.

Strong data processing, problem finding and resolving skills

Excellent communication, interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills

Fluent in both English and Chinese mandarin
