Position Purpose
This Research Manager will have the responsibility of running syndicated and customized tracking studies (ex: GQRS, Car Buyer studies, BEAT, Ad Tracking etc.) in up to 11 Markets in Asia Pacific. This role will support all APA Markets, other Ford regions and the Global Research Leads and Agency(s).
Key Roles and Responsibilities of Position
Support and lead the assigned global tracking programs with other regions (e.g.: Ford of Europe and Ford of North America) on behalf of APA.
Program content includes multi country project management, sampling plan, survey processes/business rules, data reporting, action planning tool, program training and communications, etc.
Closely work with suppliers to ensure we have the required data input/output to/from the studies between the Research supplier and various Ford systems.
Manage annual budget(s) for assigned tracking programmes
Agency management to ensure the programs are delivered and maintained with quality.
Initiate regular communications (e.g.: conference calls, communication notes) to APA stakeholders (Sales and Service directors), Markets' Management and Markets' working-level team.
Obtain the requirements of Asia Pacific markets to run the programs with a balance of local market needs and regional/ global consistency.
Answer Market's queries and manage the relationships with Teams/Contacts.
Maintain a quality project and continuously improve/enhance these programs.
Preferred previous experiences / competencies to prepare for the position
Education Qualification:An advanced research, marketing or business degree.
No. of Years of Experience: 6 to 8 years experience in consumer insights preferably in tracking studies
Preferred previous experiences:Automotive OEM or Automotive Research Agency
Experience Leadership Skills:
·Strategic thinking.
·Ability to take an enterprise view.
·Ability to deliver results with coordination from multiple groups.
·Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and persuasive skills.
Self-starter.
Functional/Technical Skills:
· Fluent spoken and written English
· Research planning and execution. Experience of leading regional projects across different countries would be a plus.
· Strong (multi country) project management skills.
· Detailed focused - can ensure flawless project delivery and management.
· Senior Leadership meeting preparation and presentation experience.
Ability to be the study advocate and educate others.
Special Knowledge Required
·Knowledge of APA Markets.
·Knowledge of the automotive customer ownership experience/processes.
Preferable knowledge of working with mTAB

Position will require occasional travel for project development/enhancements, execution quality, etc.
Ability to work within a diverse (culturally and functionally) environment.
