ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•  Work with business development teams, test engineering teams and external customers to gather information and develop manufacturing test strategies, plans, specifications, test HW & SW (complete End to End test solutions) of medium to high complexity RF products.

• Define and develop functional, system and ESS test plans for RF products.
•  Collaborate with customer R&D teams to improve NPI yields.
•  Focus on improving functional testing and eventually develop functional testing for customer products.

•  Be responsible for design, setup, validation and release of radio and/or BTS test environment, including HW and SW.

•  Compose / review test plans, requirements, and specifications.
• Work with teams to develop project schedules and execute projects to completion. Work with teams to deploy complete test solutions into manufacturing sites on time and with quality.
• Perform data analysis to find patterns and issues with product test performance.
• Participate in RCA / troubleshooting activities in design, manufacturing and/or at customer sites.
• Evaluate new test methods and strategies to help customers improve efficiency, quality and reduce cost.
• Assist in developing budgets and quoting of projects to Business Unit Managers.
• Assist in developing global test strategies, methods and best practices.
• Provides guidance, coaching, technical support to test engineering members; fostering multi-disciplinary team work, partnerships, and collaborations across various sites globally.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS&KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

• Proven background in developing RF Cellular and/or Microwave test solutions for DVT and manufacturing

• Experience in developing and implementing functional, system and ESS test plans and test cases.
•  Experience with Radio product subsystems and their testing (Power amplifier, Digital board, Modem, Antenna, etc.).

• Experience with Radio Module level integration and automation test development.
• Familiarity with Radio test development and measurement using these parameters: IP3, ACLR, EVM, Gain Flatness, Sensitivity, Noise Figure, etc.

• Good knowledge and experience with test automation using: C/C#, Python, LabWindows/CVI, TestStand, etc.

•  Working knowledge on MS Windows, MS Office; Knowledge of UNIX and/or Linux is a plus.
• Strong RCA and troubleshooting skills.
•  Fluent in English speaking and writing.
•  Ability to conduct DFT analysis is a plus.
• Experience with OrCAD and/or AutoCAD is a strong plus.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree (MSc. preferred) in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
