Description

PSM (Project sourcing manager) is a position existed in BNET sourcing organization. IP&BBN PSMs focus on MW (Microwave), and OM (Optical and Metro) products.

Project Sourcing Manager's work scope is product/project oriented, crossing categories, project time schedule sensitive and cost driven.

It requires very close cooperation towards local and global design organization, setting up good communication with BNET sourcing globally,
Good understanding on Ericsson global sourcing strategy, telecom market trend, product technology roadmap and capability of supplier/supply chain management.

During each of the projects that PSMs work in, they are required to understand the product technical structure, and fully responsible for product cost and activities which includes but not limited to:
- Supplier involvement and selection.
- Commercial agreements availability, price and terms negotiation
- Drive supply chain optimization, supplier management and continuous cost reduction.
- Analysis cost structure to ensure lowest component cost.

Besides PSMs role in projects, they also deepen their sourcing knowledge by participating in general sourcing programs, such as VPA (Annual volume purchase agreement negotiation), Risk avoidance program, multiple source program, etc

Qualifications

We expect the candidate of this position to fulfill below requirements:
- Bachelor degree or above, 1-3 year working experience (Engineering background is preferred)
- Business and management awareness
- Strong leadership and communication skill
- Strong learning capability and task driven
- Well organized and have structured thinking
- Fluent in English speaking and excellent in English writing
- Telecommunication background is highly preferred to apply this position
