PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
 

1. Manage and perform various aspects of piping design including piping arrangement drawing, Isometric drawing, piping list, BOM preparation, piping support drawing, piping insulation standard etc. 
2. Understanding APCI engineering piping standard, spec and international industry piping engineering code and local code
3. Support project proposal estimation, project execution, commissioning and start up
4. Support on site piping construction for technical issues and provide resolution suggestion
5. Maintain and develop piping design work process, ensure it is implemented appropriately.
6. Coordinate and communicate technical issues among various groups including company US and Europe engineering centers and Local Design Institute
7. Review and feedback piping basic and detail design drawing and spec completed by LDI or vendors

 
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS PERSONAL SKILLS
 

1. 5+ years’ experience in Piping Engineering for Gas, Chemical or Petrochemical related industry with Design institute or engineering company
2. BS degree in chemical process/ mechanical Engineering
3. Acceptable and communicable level English skills
4. Good personality as a professional engineer
5. Good communication and coordination skills.
6. Skillful in piping design tools, including PDS, MicroStation, Smart Plant Review. Any experience on Smart Plant 3D will be a plus
7. Well understand local and international piping design standards and codes
8. Hold national registered Chemical Engineer Certificate
9. Worked as project manager/design manager for two large scale projects (TIC >=300M rmb) in a design firm who has corresponding design license is preferred
10. Good English skill in speaking and listening is plus

 11. Be able to travel to site as required
