职位描述
1. Purpose of the job
- Identify new opportunity with Trevo new application and develop to real business
Preparation, planning and execution of new application projects.
2. Job Context
- To evaluate market context and identify business potentials;
- Generate business with right application for right industry
- To judge and evaluate existing technical demands and future trends;
- Planning and execution
- Reporting and feedback.
3. Job Content:
- Set up professional AD projects and implement them based on the company policy (Marketing Plan and Industry Plan, Regional Portfolio), timing and budget.
- Build up application and industry know-how, identify them and adequately react upon them.
- Use the knowledge to generate new, profitable business (e.g. achieving technical approvals).
- To search and collect new application technology.
- Reporting technical trends in the market as well as contribute to HPPE understanding of our local competitive position
- Monthly report & Project data report to NBD Manager
4. Complexity of the job
- Trevo is a relatively new Product and there are many blank market. Requires a high understanding of existing market structures and trends in order to generate sustainable projects and business.
- A deep understanding of applications and a solid knowledge of Fibre materials are required in order to differentiate Trevo from other suppliers/fibres by offering value-added solutions and services.
- Multiple communication level including coordinate with R&D, M&S internally and with academic institute, customer technical department externally.
- Manage uncertainties in the process outcome.
More specific issues relevant to the function are:
*Specify materials into customer applications
*Negotiate with customers about product applicability
*TS problem solving
*Make and keep presentations about Trevo development capabilities, product portfolio and potential applications
*Implement the project plans, incl. resource management
*Formulate product development specifications when/if required.
5. Knowledge and educational level
- At least a BS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer, Textile, Composite, etc.
- A high level understanding of and drive to deal with new applications and application engineering.
English reading/writing is required and listening/speaking is preferred.
6. Required level of experiences
- Minimum 3 years' experience as application development or technical service in chemical relevant industry.
- Analytical, with good judgment, business sense and problem solving skills.
- A strong negotiator who is able to identify customers' needs and persuasive in presenting ideas.
A team-player, able to work interdependently.
