Key Interactive Method
Weekly Meetings
Regular meetings with client PMT key personnel to facilitate the Execution and Interfaces coordination
Regular meetings with partner PMT key personnel to facilitate the Execution and Interfaces coordination
Ad hoc meetings to assist the Technip Project PMT in placing the relevant subcontracts/ purchase orders in China
Ad hoc meetings to assist the Technip Project PMT in any aspect of the work
Regular meetings with Client Project Managers and Senior Management to review and identify business opportunities.
Ad hoc meetings to secure partnerships and develop joint strategies for chosen business opportunities.
Ad hoc meetings to monitor the competition.
Contact as required to ensure co-ordination.
Weekly Meetings
Become a member as appropriate. Participate in meetings and raise company profile.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Maintain Technip, Subsea contacts and market presence to provide Technip, Subsea with the best opportunity of securing business.
Relationships with clients are developed and maintained at project and management level, securing a reputation of being a leading provider of technologies, solutions and contracting services to the offshore oil & gas industry.
Technip, Subsea has a best possible overview of, and relationship with, competitors and potential partners to develop strategies to enhance the chances of winning targeted projects.
Qualifications (Educational/Professional):
Degree in Engineering or Commerce
Oil& Gas industry, market place, clients and competitors.
Technip, Subsea project experience, technologies and capabilities.
Contract negotiations and management.
Communication& Presentation.
Strategy formulation.
ten years experience in business development, tendering and sales in the oil & gas industry.
Project experience advantageous
Experience with CNOOC/ COOEC
Social and interpersonal skills and hobbies which create a common ground with clients and business partners.
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA:
Strong leadership attributes.
Understanding of business acquisition techniques.
Strong contacts with APAC clients.
Sound technical understanding of Technip, Subsea's products and services and good understanding of worldwide capabilities.
Ability to interact with clients and internal management with a high degree of credibility.
Effective selling and negotiation skills.
DEMANDS:
Strict reporting to Project PMT
Clear awareness of Project interest and Technip Ethic principles
Ability to meet deadlines and plan work accordingly
Flexibility in responding to a variety of differing client needs and cultures.
Required to work extended hours as needed to meet job requirements.
Be available for duty rosters and emergency response activation
