市场专员的这个职位,我们定位为市场专业人才或是产品市场工程师或业务发展经理的人才培养池。她/他需要以多面手的方式承担和参与不同的工作任务,比如参与市场活动,部分产品询价报价工作,供应商开发,样品/样机管理,以及业务分析等等。 她/他需要和内部团队紧密合作,支持直销和分销团队完成业务目标。对于市场工作,她/他需要支持市场主管,参与市场活动策划,执行市场计划,评估市场活动的效果,以便能提升我们的品牌美誉度,产品推广力度以及客户粘度。同时,她/他也需要支持业务发展经理完成一些第三方品牌产品的报价询价工作,直至拿到订单。其它事项如业务分析,样品/样机管理等服从市场部门负责人的安排。
Position Summary: This position has been designed as talent pool for Marcom expert or Product Marketing engineer or Business development manager in the future. Thus he/she needs to take multi tasks like participating marcom activities, product sourcing work, supplier development, demo-kits management, business analysis in the future. He/she needs to work closely with internal function teams and support both channel and direct sales teams to achieve their goal. For Marcom work, he/she needs to support Marcom supervisor to design marcom programs, to execute marcom plan and to evaluate the ROI/effectiveness, for the purposes of improving Branding Image, Promotion work and Customer Adhesiveness. Also, he/she needs to support Business Development Manager on third-party product sourcing work, from quotation to order. For others like business analysis or management work to demo-kits, as required by marketing head.
Essential Functions:
1. Work with Marcom Supervisor and global marketing team to create a positive customer experience with Cole-Parmer, improve branding image and product promotion in China.
2. Monitor both the online and offline regional marketing channels (including website, catalog, trade show, etc.) and local language content (business and technical) to assure that represents current regional marketing message. Work with global marketing team, eBusiness team and translators to keep regional content fresh and accurate.
3. Participate marcom planning work, execution and evaluate the effectiveness of Cole-Parmer’s marketing programs in China, both online and offline activities.
- Product Sourcing work, based on sales requirements from key accounts, with the guideline from manager, to develop qualified third-party products. Recommend right products, check price and delivery time, quote to sales and customers, and gain orders.
- Work with Business Development Managers to review Product portfolio, to add new suppliers, to move up existing suppliers to Core/strategic cooperation levels.
- As this position is more as in-house role, she/he also needs to help on demo-kits management, like receive and send to customers, a tracking record should be in place to ensure all demo-kits are in good conditions and traceable records for their demo work in customer side.
- Business analysis by sales, by product category, by brands as required by manager. Capable to see risks from data and give out alerts.
- Performs other duties as assigned by manager.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
1. More than 5 years working experience in life science industry.
2. Major in science with bachelor degree as preferred.
3. Good written and spoken English skills required.
4. Having 1-2 year related experience in wechat management or event, tradeshow, etc.
5. Familiar with multiple online communication operations.
6. 2+ years product sourcing work experience as preferred.
7. Have basic understanding to lab consumables and instruments. Also industries like Biology, Pharmacy, Chemistry, etc.
8. Fast learner

1. Is able to manage multiple projects concurrently, meet deadlines, and follow-up in a timely manner through excellent organizational, planning, prioritization and multi-tasking skills.
2. Must possess excellent communication skills to assemble clear reports, express ideas and results of research in a concise and clear manner.
3. Must be responsive to customers, proactive and anticipate customer needs.
4. Must be able to work well independently with limited daily directions.
5. Must be able to grasp new concepts, approaches or systems, and organize information logically.
6. Experience with PC analytical and reporting tools (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Access)
7. Must possess a strong work ethic, be trustworthy and maintain a high degree of integrity.
8. Must possess the interpersonal skills and sensitivity to deal effectively with individuals from different cultures.
Working Conditions:
· Sits at computer for extended periods of time and uses a keyboard and mouse to interact with computer system.
· Frequent writing and reading in both English and Chinese
· Few travels upon business needs.
