Key Accountabilities

Maintain engineering standards, standard drawings and project management processes to ensure they are up-to date, can support safe and reliable operation, deliver VI standard and are optimized for total life cycle cost ownership.
As the BU Center of Expertise in Engineering, implement/ embed the engineering standards/PM processes for new projects.
Support the new businesses to develop engineering capability upon request.
Managing site development projects before new business inception and taking over. This includes site investigation, project planning, site design, HSSE, QA/QC and cost management.
Managing BP Retail Site Quality program to ensure conformance to BP VI standards in new business operations.
Provide technical support to procurement activities
Comply with BP's Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) policies and procedures
Ensure the engineering standards and project management processes meet safe and reliable operation requirements
Ensure the site development projects are delivered in safe and reliable manner.

Job Holder Requirements

• 5+ years of experience within a large organisation, of which 3 years in hands on engineering and civil project role. Engineering experience in fuels retail business preferred.
• Strong leadership on safe and reliable operation
• Pursue excellence and strive for continuous improvement in engineering area.
• Strong influencing & communication skill - to have the ability to influence BP and NEW BUSINESS partners on engineering agenda effectively.
• Experience in developing, operating and maintaining a management system is desirable.
• AutoCAD skills preferred
• Fluent English/Mandarin speaker

Support the implementation of engineering standards/processes before/after new business inception to ensure quality and consistency.
