The position of Public Relations Professional, Greater China is responsible to shape, promote and protect the corporate brand, as well as to work on internal communications in Greater China, through strategic communications programs. Be responsible for planning, maintaining and executing impactful corporate communication strategies that build awareness for the company, product lines and vision, both internally and externally.

This role is based in Shanghai and reports to the Head of Public Relations and Government Affairs (PR&GA), APAC.

Job Description:

1. Internal communication:

Responsible for internal communications to support the business objectives of Greater China. Partners with HR, business teams and related functional teams to increase employee awareness, understanding and participation in programs via internal communications channels. Collaborates to develop content that champions the employee and company experiences to all internal and external audiences, ensuring overall messaging consistency across business units.

This includes:

·        Develop and implement internal communications strategies and plans across One PKI organization.

·        Build and enhance company culture through activities to embed our core values.

·        Champion and develop appropriate messaging for internal audiences through effective channels, including corporate internal newsletter.

·        Create relevant and impactful initiatives to support the leadership communications.

·        Maintain and develop tools and guidelines for internal communication initiatives to be used across the business.

·        Design and execute relevant internal communications activities, including townhalls, and other employee engagement events, from content development to event management.

·        Manage and continuously enhance the various internal communications channels to drive effectiveness.

1. Corporate social responsibility (CSR)

This includes:

·        CSR programs planning and execution.

·        Corporate volunteer team activities planning and management.

1. External communications

Work closely with Head of PR&GA on:  

·        Develop and implement effective projects and campaigns in public relations with the areas of media relations, industry relations, public affairs, including news writing, event management, publication of corporate branding materials and internal communication materials.

·        Collaborate with business teams and marketing team to provide communication support as appropriate on marketing campaigns, brand efforts, and channel/partner programs and announcements.

·        Identify, anticipate, and manage PR issue situations.

Job Requirements:

·        Bachelor's degree in liberal arts, business or related discipline. English study, Media, communication or journalism preferred. Master’s Degree a plus.

·        Previous experiences as public relations, corporate communications, or similar position is required. Experiences in healthcare industry preferred.

·        Excellent communications and people management skills, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

·        Strong inter-person communication skills with a good understanding of internal stakeholder management. Strong partnering skills with business leaders.

·        Excellent news articles writing skills.

·        Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficient in spoken and written English.

·        Strong project management skills with ability to meet tight deadlines. 

·        A creative yet practical mind, and ability to multitask. High sense of responsibility, team player, self-motivated, quick learner, stress resistant.

·        Excellent PC skills in Word, Chinese Word processing, MS Excel, PowerPoint and web content management.

2020年3月，美国食品药品管理局（FDA）已为珀金埃尔默研发的新型冠状病毒核酸检测试剂盒（RT-PCR）批准了紧急使用授权（EUA）。同时，该新型冠状病毒核酸检测试剂盒作为一种体外诊断（IVD）设备，满足欧盟体外诊断试剂指令（IVDD）的要求，并获得欧盟市场的准入资格，且于4月被正式列入WHO应急使用清单（EUL，Emergency Use Listing）。
2020年8月国际著名期刊《Nature Biotechnology》发表了关于全球获批新冠病毒核酸检测试剂盒性能对比研究：珀金埃尔默研发的核酸检测试剂盒，以0.009copies/μL最低检测限（LoD）的显著优势排名全球***，为全球最灵敏新冠病毒核酸检测试剂盒。
