Job Description

a. Lead a two teams:
i. A team of warehouse project managers (5HC)
ii. A team of WMS specialists (EWM) (2 HC)
b. Report to Regional Director Warehousing
c. Implement the Bosch warehouse Footprint strategy in China (Governance Role) - Warehouse reductions, warehouse consolidations, alignment with GB and Bosch Central GS
d. Carry out warehouse projects (Project calculations, support Purchasing in tenders, organizing and carrying warehouse move for 3rd party warehouse providers (LSP))
e. Coordinating warehouse projects with operations team

Qualifications

1. Knowledge and background required:
a. Strong background in warehousing operations, alternatively strong experience in production management or BPS projects with interest for a move into a supply chain role
b. Solid knowledge on LEAN tools and/ or BPS
c. Solid project experience (preferably for warehouse moves), alternatively e.g. production line transfers
d. IT/ SAP knowledge
e. Cost calculation experience (Zero Based Costing)
f. Experience in handling 3rd party suppliers (LSPs)
2. Personality
a. Positive and outgoing, excellent communication skills
b. Analytical and fact based.
c. Strong leadership personality (able to manage subordinates which may be working on projects in other locations)
d. Assertive personality (needs to convince)
e. Pro-Active and self-driven.
