新进中国外资农化行业巨头公司R&D Mgr

Accountabilities
1. Ensuring processes and metrics in project reviews and decisions are consistent with R&D Portfolio Unit standards.
2. Ensures comprehensive reviews and decisions on Stage Promotions, Critical Milestones, and Releases to First Sales for all R&D projects in China.
3. Support the China PPM Lead to manage the China Project Portfolio process for R&D, from ideation to project prioritization, ensuring alignment of resource allocations with business strategy.
4. Ensures visibility of projects, reviews performance and resource demands with China PPM Lead and CN R&D Leads to support decision-making.


Knowledge, experience & capabilities
Critical knowledge
1. The position requires a minimum of a Masters Degree (and / or equivalent experience) with demonstrated project management experience.
2. Knowledge and experience in new product development
3. Ability to analyze complex projects (risk, cost/benefit, quantitative and strategic fit)
4. Commercial experience beneficial


Critical experience
1. Three to five years experiences at a middle management level in the Agriculture industry, with good experience in project management, preferably in a Product Development or R&D structure with long-term projects and a complex matrix organization.
2. Extensive hands-on experience with MS Office (Excel, Word, MS Project and PowerPoint).
3. Portfolio management tools experience is a plus.

3. Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, both in Chinese and English
4. Ability to manage change, resolve conflict and gather momentum for projects to deliver results.
5. Advanced project management training, such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent qualification is desirable.
6. Strong business, marketing, technology-mentality mix; entrepreneurial spirit
7. Ability to work effectively in multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural environment
8. Rigor in fact finding, ability to set clear objectives and to define how to reach them and willingness to review and react
9. Ability to avoid complexity and to organize resources in an efficient way; cost-/time consciousness, pragmatism, professionalism
10. Ability to get involved personally, to take action and achieve measurable results
