The Internal Audit, Risk and Compliance, "IARCS” team at KPMG China  provides broad advisory services for clients in various industries to better identify, measure and control their risks. The services ranges include internal audit, compliance advisory, risk governance, ERM planning advisory, etc.

Main responsibilities

- Lead project teams to carry out compliance, internal controls or internal audit related engagements 

- Develop proposals, manage engagements in general and lead in field work to meet our client's demands within budgeted time and costs

- Help clients design risk governance frameworks, improve their internal controls, compliance, and risk management policies and processes, ensure deliverables and services in compliance with KPMG's policies and quality / performance standards

- Communicate effectively with clients and be able to identify new business opportunities 

- Contribute to business development work in terms of proposal preparation, sharing industry practices and knowledge, and assist in bidding for global / regional opportunities if required

- Work in cross-functional teams and support other lines of services (Audit, Tax, or Advisory) 

Qualifications

- Bachelor degree or above in economics, finance, management, engineering, healthcare, or and other business areas

- At least 5 years of corporate or consulting experience. Automotive experience strongly preferred

- Experience with internal controls, compliance, and risk management related projects in various industries including life sciences, real estate, automobile, financial institutions, etc. Previous work experience in a consulting firm is preferred

- Good understanding on industry regulations, internal control processes, and risk management methodologies. Qualification of CIA is preferred

- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a commitment to high quality client service 

- Good communication skills, independent and self-driven

- Mature, proactive, team-oriented, and committed to what is assigned and needs to be delivered

- Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese

- Proficient in PPT applications and word processing

- Willing to travel

- Multi-tasking is required as is a willingness to work under pressure
