The selected candidate will be a key hands-on contributor with SQA role in software development lifecycle, for Dell Cloud Client embedded product line. The candidate will present as a member of SQA team, working with development team, organizing SQA activates including test requirement analysis, test case design, test execution and reporting, as well as documentation, contributing as software QA to deliver qualified product on time..

The candidate will work with global team distributed in different offices by email, conference call and other communication channels.

Good knowledge and understanding of cloud client computing software and hardware would be a plus for evaluation of software performance against hardware performance.

This candidate must be able to collaborate with Product team, Support/Service team as well as Operation team in a fast pace environment.

§ BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent.

§ Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese.

§ Agile SCRUM and experience would be a plus.

§ Experience with SQA team of size 10+.

§ Experience with Development team of size 30+.

§ Experience with product development lifecycle of 1+ year.

§ Ubuntu system experience is a big plus.

§ Software development life cycle knowledge is required.

§ Good understanding on embedded system and client hardware.

§ Good experience in VDI software setup and maintenance e.g. VMware Horizon, Citrix Xen Desktop/App, and Microsoft RDS is a plus

§ Good experience in fast learning, as well as mentoring and training others, both informally (peer-level) and formally (through occasional presentations).

§ Strong team player with a “Do what it takes” attitude; good in flexibility and multi-tasking. Willing to pitch in and contribute to manual test efforts when needed.

§ Ubuntu Linux/Unix/Free BSD experience is a plus.
