职位描述

Position Summary

This position supports several areas in business development including marketing, coordinating client visits /meetings, managing business opportunity lifecycle (handing RFI/RFP, preparing proposal, quotation and bidding, contract support and collaboration with project team) and other BD daily activities.

Key Responsibilities

Generate new and repeat business by promoting our services throughout the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology and medical device industries with the focus per business needs.

  

n Identify and target new business through professional, consultative, proactive BD activities directed at decision maker/influencers.

  

n secure and retain business in close collaboration with the functional leads and assigned team members.

  

n Highlight dMed’s strength and promote us as the trusted partner.

  

n Emphasize our Tailored Service and Flexible Collaboration Model and highly engaged team with strong ownership mindset and customer orientation.

  

n Differentiating us from other service providers to generate interest within the target audience: Scientific Consultation, Quality Focus, Global Standard and Innovation.

  

n Build strong relationships throughout assigned responsibilities.

  

n Execute on assigned category strategy to gain market share and build high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.

  

  

Ensure a smooth process at all stages which maximizing the opportunity for success with working cross functionally.

  

n Manage the full BD process for all opportunities, including initial client communication, on-site presentations, client workshops, RFI response, CDA/RFP/RFI/MDA submission, negotiations, and contract execution.

  

n Actively participate in RFP responses, quotation and work order preparation, and database update and maintaining.

  

n Increase and keep the ratio of RFPs to contracts at a healthy level.

  

n Sufficiently position dMed’s solutions, services and key advantages.

  

n Proactively refine lead generation process and BD presentations for engaging customers/prospects.

  

n Close business in line with pre-agreed BD targets by generating enough leads in various accounts assigned.

  

  

Ensure continuous market research by business development staff to target accounts, identify and qualify new business opportunities and maintain an active BD pipeline to achieve quarterly and annual targeted contract targets

  

n Ensure implementation of BD strategy and related tools for every service opportunity.

  

n Improve and support BD team to develop winning strategies, project plans, client interactions, proposal creation, presentations, and closure of BD opportunities.

  

n Attend periodic meetings involving clients and senior management to discuss communicate client satisfaction, identify evolving client needs, and discuss opportunities to improve services and speed clinical development through new processes, methods, procedures, and technology.

  

n Support BD Head in creating annual Business Development Operating Plan.


Mentor and develop employees to expand employee performance levels and retain high performing employees

  

n Involve in new employee interview and related recruitment activities.

  

n Provide clear team and individual goals and expectations and ensure that each member understands her/his responsibilities.

  

n Prepare career development plans, performance appraisals, and all other administrative tasks for all direct reports in a timely manner according to company policy.

  

n Coach and counsel direct reports with regard to performance and goal setting; provides timely feedback, fosters environment that supports staff development, provides necessary training and encourages excellence in leadership in business development.

  

  

Comply with training, specifications, quality, confidentiality and security standards with adhering to and following quality systems, processes and policies.

  

  

Other responsibilities and duties as assigned.

 

Education and Key Competency Requirements

  

  

Professional Experience & Education Requirement

  

  

l Graduate / postgraduate in relevant field, preferably from a business or science background.

  

l Minimum 4-5 years of experience in life science, pharma, and healthcare organizations.

  

l Experience in the big multi-national pharmaceutical industry is preferred.

  

l Candidates working in CRO industry would be preferred.

  

l Proven experience in formulating solutions and proposals for problems of a strategic nature.

  

  

Key Competency Requirement

  

l Knowledge of the Phase I-IV Studies and CRO services

  

l Understanding of the pharmaceutical business and various functions.
