Responsibilities:

  

• Assist in developing planning/scheduling systems, preparation and administration of overall project plans and schedules including resource loading in co-ordination with the Project Schedule in conjunction with the construction supervisors, discipline engineers, and other appropriate specialists and other project staff as applicable.

• Support overall schedule coordination with the internal project team members, vendors and sub-contractors.

• Support in developing, status and presenting planning/schedule reports, Progress presentation in live meeting e.g. S-Curves, planning analysis and recommendations, forecast data and other information as required/needed. Where necessary support the Lead Scheduler in reporting to management on project issues in liaison/alignment with the Project Manager. Maintain accurate progress records.

• To have full understanding of the scope of work for the project.

• Review with the relevant project Staff, analysis and validation of schedules submitted by contractors, monitoring actual progress, comparison to baseline and reporting progress against schedule. Analysis and reporting on productivity and trends. Forecasting the impact on schedule of proposed changes.

• Prepare the ‘Critical Path Activities’ and the ‘Critical Path’ review.

• Attend and contribute to site meetings and presentations

• Assist in developing manpower/man-hours forecast as per scheduling activities in Program/projects. Status manpower histogram.

• Identify all potential project schedule risks and risk mitigation plans/work around in liaise with the project team

  Requirements:

                      

• Engineering Degree

• Good Spoken and written English

• Familiarity with building site and personal safety

• Able to read and review construction drawings

• Able to long term business travel

• Good on Excel

• Good on P6 & MS-Project
