Job Overview:
Within the responsabilities of this position lies the setup and keep-operational of several processes demanding high computational power in the Artificial Intelligence domain. The proposed candidate shall assure the efficient and reliable function of cloud computing related processes by means of administration and troubleshooting. In this position the ESG engineer will be integrated into an existing team in the customer’s premises.

Goal:
The customer expects our engineer to support it’s development teams by configuring, scheduling and verifying the routine computational tasks in a cloud computing environment.
The primary goal for ESG’s task in this context is to release the development team from administrative tasks in such a way they can concentrate on their core tasks.

Major Responsibilities:
* Taking over tasks from the customer’s Autonomous Driving team and support them by supervising the task execution and feedback results after preliminary check
* Administration and configuration of mostly numerical processes by means of resource demand and schedule
* Process planning (scheduling), e.g. support of run-scripts
* Configuration management (process version verification)


Qualifications:
* Basic familiarity with client – server applications
* Basic knowledge of programming languages like C++/Java
* Familiarity with network administration
* Familiarity with at least one cloud service provider (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, etc.)
* Working experience with virtualization (Hypervisor)
* Work experience with Docker or other OS virtualization technologies would be a plus
* Work experience with Kubernetes or similar SW process administration tools would be a plus
* Familiarity with standard Office Software, including Excel, Word and PPT
* Basic Project Management
* Good communication and coordination skills
