PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:


Effectively and efficiently manage and run department to achieve company objectives in budget, quality, time, customer satisfaction and growth of valves in water business.



TYPICAL TASKS:


· Prepare and administrate department budgets, keep department run effectively and cost minimum

· Develop of a cohesive and functional team; lead, coach and motivate engineers to develop valves, perform prototype test, run 0-series and launch product

· Supervise staff including hiring, training, salary reviews and performance Management

· Develop good NPD process and appropriate SOP to guide engineers run project

· Be in charge of document management, such as drawing control, technical specification, data sheet and O&M manual

· Support project manager to realize project object and plant manufacture process

· Work closely with Denmark headquarter to get global projects run efficiently

· Performs other related duties assigned by general manager



QUALIFICATIONS & SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:


· Bachelor degree in Fluid Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Manufacture and Automation or Mechatronic Engineering (advanced degree is a plus).

· Must have strong mechanical background, familiar with pressure containing parts, good at structural design and strength analysis. At least have 3 years design experience plus 2 years department management experience.

· Familiar with NPD process, excellent skills of communication, coordination, planning and organization.

· Strong leadership and result oriented, good at inspiring team successfully finish project within budget and timelines.

· Fluent written and oral English; experienced with 3D and 2D CAD software

· Willingly pursue higher levels of technical and managerial know-how through personal research and reading, on-the-job training and company sponsored training
