ChiroChem (Taizhou) is seeking a creative, proactive, and passionate Senior Team Leader with a background in organic chemistry /medicinal chemistry for the R&D team in Taizhou, Jiangshu. This role will lead a R&D team responsible for the R&D and production of the company, designing synthetic strategies and development of the new products (especially the chiral N-heterocycles). At the same time, this role will also be responsible for assisting the R&D and Production Manager to manage all the R&D and production projects of the company. 岗位职责：(Key Responsibilities)

1、人员管理 (Team Management)

a. 负责本组成员的工作安排、本组新成员的入职介绍及今后的培训提高；

Responsible for the work arrangements of your team members, mentoring your new team members, supervising and training your team members to help them to improve in the future;

b. 负责本组成员的绩效考核、晋升、工资调整和个人奖项提名；

Responsible for performance appraisal, promotion, salary adjustment and individual awards nomination of your team members;

c. 承上启下，将本组成员的需求和建议传递给公司管理层，同时督促本组成员遵守公司各项规章制度。

Passing the needs and suggestions from your team members to the Management Team of the company, and urging your team members to follow company rules and regulations.

2、项目管理 (Project Management)

a. 对分配到本组的项目进行文献调研，合理设计和选择合成路线，根据组员的实际情况合理分配项目，并及时安排购买项目所需的原料；

Carry out the literature review on the new projects assigned to your team, reasonably design and select the synthetic routes, assign the projects to different members according to their actual levels, and purchase the materials needed for the projects in time;

b. 合理掌控项目进度，积极组织组内项目讨论，及时帮助组员分析和解决研发和生产过程中出现的问题，按时汇报项目进展，带领组员顺利完成项目任务；

Reasonably manage the progress of the projects, regularly discuss the project progress with your team members, timely help them to analyze and solve the problems in R&D and production processes, report the project progress on time, and lead the team members to successfully complete the projects;

c. 定期检查本组成员的实验记录本，确保他们按照公司要求规范书写；

Regularly check your team members’ lab notebooks to ensure they record all the details in the company’s required format;

d. 督促本组成员按照公司要求，规范、及时地完成项目报告的书写；

Make sure your team members write the project report in the company’s required format as soon as that project is completed;

e. 督促本组成员将生产出来的产品及时送检，在确保质量的情况下及时入库；

Make sure your team members submit the products produced for analysis, and timely put them in stock with excellent quality;

f. 负责对本组所分配项目的成本管控。

Responsible for cost control of the projects assigned to your team.

3、实验室管理 (Laboratory Management)

a. 全面负责本组成员所在实验室的日常卫生、整洁；

Responsible for the laboratory housekeeping where your team members located;

b. 协助EHS经理，全面负责本组成员所在实验室的环境、健康与安全。

Together with the EHS manager, responsible for the environment, health and safety (EHS) of the laboratory where your team members located.

4、协助研发生产部经理管理公司所有的研发和生产项目（项目评估、项目分配、进展跟

踪、项目总结等）。

Help the R&D and Production Manager to manage all the R&D and production projects of the company (project evaluation, project assignment, progress tracking, project summary, etc.)

任职要求：(Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience Requirements)

1、 有机化学、药物化学及相关专业博士毕业，3年以上工业界研发背景（硕士相关专业毕业5年以上的特别优秀的也可以考虑）；

PhD in organic /medicinal chemistry with more than 3 years of experience in industrial laboratories and strong R&D background (Master degree in related areas with more than 5 years excellent work experience can also be considered);

2、 具有优秀的管理团队能力，2年以上管理团队的经验。勇于承担责任，并能够积极地调动组员的工作积极性；

Excellent team management skills with more than 2 years of experience in R&D team management. Courage to take responsibility, and good at motivating team members;

3、 发表过较高档次的文章、专利或重要的会议报告；

Proven track record of scientific contributions including peer reviewed publications, patents and presentations;

4、 在合成复杂分子、新合成方法的开发等方面经验丰富，熟练掌握现代合成和分析技术；

Experiences in the synthesis of complex molecules and the development of new synthetic methodology, proficient in modern synthetic and analytical techniques;

5、 在合成试剂、方法学、反应机理、反应后处理和分离纯化（色谱、蒸馏、结晶等）方面具有较深较广的知识；

Outstanding broad knowledge of synthetic reagents, methodology, reaction mechanisms, reaction work-ups and isolations/purifications (chromatography, distillation, crystallization, etc);

6、 具有不对称合成、催化、氢化等反应经验，熟练操作无水无氧反应及使用对水和空气敏感的试剂，具有丰富的工艺开发、放大反应等经验的优先考虑；

Experiences in asymmetric synthesis, catalysis, hydrogenation are preferred; Experiences in working with air and moisture sensitive reagents and reactions are preferred; Experiences in process development with strong scale-up skills are preferred;

7、 有较强的团队合作精神，具有很好的人际交往能力，能与多元化、跨学科、跨国别的团队顺利开展合作；

Strong team spirit, good interpersonal skills, ability to work collaboratively and effectively with diverse, interdisciplinary, and multinational teams;

8、 具有非常强的分析问题、解决问题的能力，并且能够帮助组员和其他同事解决他们实验中所出现的问题；

With very strong ability to analyze and solve problems, and help team members and other colleagues solve their problems;

9、 良好的英语口语和书面沟通能力，能够熟练的使用英文查阅文献和撰写项目报告。能够用英语和利物浦的研发团队讨论、交流项目的进展。

Excellent oral and written communication skills in English，proficient in using English to search the literature and write the project reports. Ability to communicate and discuss the projects progress in English with our R&D team in Liverpool.
