Objective of Job:

-Planning: Liaison with Safety PAT teams to establish test parts procurement plans globally to ensure right parts, right place at the right time

-Confirm detailed parts lists including suffixes

-Work with Pre-Production Management and Prototype Finance teams to confirm costs and place parts orders

-Attend and organize relevant meetings and reviews in order to realize the plan.

-Contact suppliers to confirm details, obtain promise dates, rate and flow, and review potential issues

-Initiate and coordinate activities with Parts Management Analysis and Pre-Production Management teams to track and escalate late delivery issues to the Safety PAT and D&R engineers

-Monitor and report status and metrics of overall project plan to the Safety PAT and Safety Supervisor

-Monitor and report on budget vs status and send quarterly report to the Safety Supervisor and Department Manager.

-Provide a half-yearly statement of parts inventories to Safety PAT and Safety Supervisor either for future cost control or parts disposal.

-Provide Lessons Learned summaries to improve future projects

 

Qualification:

General Skills

-Engilish, be able to communicate in written and spoken English with Europe team

-MS Office

 

Functionality Skills and Technical skills

-Safety Attribute Team: Require weekly/daily reviews of safety work progress and issues status.  Provide information to attribute team to clearly determine attribute status.

-PMT Management: Require weekly/daily report on number of related issues and progress.

 

Mgt and Leadership Skills

-Good communication and presentation skills

-Be able to make normal day by day technical decisions independently

-Knowledge about the 'western' business style preferred

 

Experience and education

-3~5 years of experiences

-B.A. in engineering (Can get concession for excellent practical experience)
