The newly established regional Business Digital Organization at Bosch Power Tools drives the digital transformation at PT in close cooperation with the Business Units, Sales Organizations and Shared Services, to understand our users and translate their needs into a positive seamless digital user experience that excites and differentiates us from competition, and accelerate growth and contribute to long-term profitability.

We are looking for you to join our regional Business Digital Organization Asia Pacific as an IoT Solution Architect. Job Description

Your contribution to something big

• You build the connected future in the AP region
• Take the lead for research of requirements in the AP region as well as fully understand project needs
• Develop and align the solution and micro-service architecture with global specialists
• You steer the build-up of micro-service capabilities in the AP region
• You work together with our central architecture specialists to define and implement DevOps standards
• You design system framework and core functions, support code review, meanwhile take the ownership for technical documents
• Within the solution architecture you ensure internal and external security & data privacy guidelines are followed

Qualifications

What distinguishes you

• Proficient in micro-service architecture, 5 years experience as IT architect with agile project experience, preferably experience in IoT projects
• Experience with data stream processing and event sourcing (ideally with Kafka)
• Experience with continuous delivery, hosting and management of solutions on public cloud environments
• Experience with REST API design
• Ideally you are expert in one more of the following technologies: Angular, React, Android, REST/HATEOAS, Spring Ecosystem, Java, Kotlin, Huawei or Azure Cloud Platform Services (Azure Storage, Azure Functions, Azure DevOps and etc., or comparable on Huawei Cloud), SQL & Non-SLQ DBs, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, Application + Performance + Log Monitoring (fluentD, ELK, Splunk, App Dynamics, New Relic and etc.)
• Cultural sensitiveness, experience to work in a global team, communication skills across all hierarchies
• Fluent in written and spoken English
