Data & Performance Marketing Associate Director / Manager – Mindshare, China

Overview of job
With the development of media digitalization and big data, we see increasing trend of client’s request on both programmatic media buy and data-empowered marketing. Our team’s role will be to connect client’s request with solutions on both GroupM and Mindshare level, and to generate overall data strategy and media activation campaigns. Main clients include PepsiCo, UNIQLO, Kangshifu, Lufthansa, etc.

Reporting of the role

This role reports to Data & Performance Partner.

2. Be quickly equipped with the up-to-date knowledge of DMP/CDP, Programmatic buy, Brand Safety and Data Safety and put them into practice.

Measures of success

In 3 months:

· Developed deep understanding of key clients’ needs and their digital & data strategy.

· Be familiar with different roles of client team and function team in both GroupM and Mindshare levels.

· Be familiar with working flow from generating strategy to campaign execution via co-working with client team and function team.

In 6 months:

· Work closely with client team and function team to generate campaign strategy to fulfill client’s needs. Play the role of good coordinator.

· Deeply understand the methodology of programmatic buy and data tracking and could interpret implications from performance data results

· Be familiar with different media DMPs such as GDT/Unidesk/JDx and could manage campaign across these platforms.

In 12 months:

  • Be able to interpret client needs or potential business opportunity of DMP/CDP/Data Management and manage to consolidate different resources for possible solution.

· Be independently in charge of the full campaign process and be able to deliver optimization suggestion.

Responsibilities of the role:

· Being the bridge for client team and different function teams to make sure to deliver integrated solution and service to fulfill client’s needs.

· To generate data/performance strategy based on clients’ needs and coordinate the afterwards execution process, including post-buy review interpretation

· Keep up with the latest trend and knowledge of data-driven marketing and DMP/CDP, etc.

What you will need:

· 3-5 years’ experience in digital advertising (experience in ad tracking, campaign execution, performance data analytics)

· Experience in managing more performance driven campaign, or Unidesk/JDX campaigns would be a plus.

· Knowledge in understanding methodology of DMP and programmatic media buying would be a plus.

· Skills to make appealing decks/excels for reporting would be plus.

· Proactive, strong sense of responsibility and detail oriented

· Open-minded, self-motivated and fast learner

· Good communication and coordination skills
