RESPONSIBILITIES

  

-Responsible for resolving any reactive incidents in a timely fashion, within the agreed SLA and to the high quality that a retail business demands.

  

-Liaise with software and hardware support vendors to resolve reactive incidents and to follow up with proactive measures to prevent reoccurrence across all company technologies.

  

-Carry out assigned daily, weekly or monthly scheduled tasks.

  

-Working towards subject matter specialist within the retail Karl Lagerfeld Technologies.

  

-Document all tasks undertaken within the team including reoccurring issues and processes.

  

-Provide training overviews on specialist subject matter to the rest of the team and Front Office where applicable.

  

-Interface with the business concerning pricing and IT related escalations as instructed.

  

PERSONAL PROFILE

  

• At least 3 years’experience in IT field, with retail/consumer goods/luxury industry exposure is a plus;

• Retail experience (including interfacing with customer facing colleagues), solid experience within Retail (RF Scanners/Receipt printers, RFID, Till support, CCTV, TC)

• Retail systems such as POS and SCM.

• Retail Back Office concept and activities

• Industry recognized qualification e.g. MCSE, CCNA

• IT Generalist with working knowledge of Windows and Apple end user platforms.

• MYSQL & ORACLE database

• Hardware configuration and break/fix experience.

• Solid technical support experience with PC & MAC, this should include OS (W7/WIN10/OSX), Microsoft Office suite/Apple Life support.
